PKR vice-president Tian Chua said Pakatan Harapan has endorsed independent candidate P Prabakaran to contest and defend the Batu parliamentary seat for the opposition in the 14th general election (GE14).
"Prabakaran is young and energetic and I will help mentor him as he faces the general election.
"We will be printing pamphlets so that the people of Batu will choose him, and the key symbol. It is important for the Batu seat to remain with Pakatan (Harapan)," said the incumbent Batu MP, who earlier today failed in his bid to defend the seat after his originating summons was rejected by a court.

Prabakaran, 22, is a law student and is the youngest candidate to contest in GE14 after PM Najib.
